So my last post was way back in 2017. My second child was just born and after three blog posts, the children’s schedule changed that I got swallowed up by mothering “fuller time” if there is such a thing (there should be). I started this blog hoping to write quality articles, and I felt that there simply was no way with the time I had. And the blog was neglected.
Forward two rewarding overwhelming years later, I have a young pre-schooler and a toddler who fill up my days with happiness and stress and we’re entering our home
schooling years and I couldn’t be more excited by the prospect of helping guide their education. I can’t wait to fill this blog with our activities, though I can no longer promise myself that the writing will be top notch. From now on, done is better than perfect as far as the writing on this blog goes. I hope that’s alright with anyone who happens upon this blog.
The Home School Plan
We have decided to start our eldest, B, in Homeschool Global in September. But from now until then, I’m starting both my children in the Blossom and Root Early Years curriculum to get our feet wet in homeschooling. We chose Blossom and Root because of the nature based curriculum that focuses a lot on being outside and getting a lot of interaction with nature. Wish us luck!
